A fairly lightweight ballad on both sides of this 1975 single.  The A side is written by Gloria Sklerov and lyricist Harry Lloyd with the flip written by John Durrill. Both songs were arranged by Don Costa and produced by Snuff Garrett .

The 45 was released on Reprise Records which had been formed by Frank in 1960.  At that time he felt that he need more artistic freedom for his own recordings due to falling out with Capitol Records.  He ran the label for 3 years and although featuring many of his "Rat Pack pals" and other named signings the label was never that profitable.

In 1963 the label was sold to Warner Bros. who quickly dropped a lot of the label's original signings.  The later label roster included The Kinks, Neil Young, Jimi Hendrix, Fleetwood Mac and The Beach Boys. The label was deactivated in 1976 with most of the roster being moved onto the main Warner Bros. label except Frank and Neil Young who continued to have releases on the label.  Around 1985 the label was re-activated and still runs today.

Although this 45 entered the lower reaches of the charts both sides of the Atlantic it failed to make any lasting impact.

Tenpole Tudor Wunderbar / Tenpole 45 Stiff Buy 120 (1981) Tenpole Tudor were a punk band fronted by Eddie (Edward) Tudor-Pole. The band (and in particular Eddie) were first noticed when he appeared in the Sex Pistols' film The Great Rock 'n' Roll Swindle and on three of the singles released from the soundtrack. At one point (prior to the band folding) he was touted as a replacement singer for Johnny Rotten (John Lydon).  Initially releasing a 45 in 1980 on Korova Records, this was their 3rd single on Stiff Records and it reached #16 in the UK charts. As well as his musical career Eddie has appeared in numerous film roles including Sid and Nancy, Harry Potter and Les Misérables. He also fronted the TV show The Crystal Maze for 28 episodes in the 1990's. BUY 120

The Animals The Animals Is Here EP Columbia SEG 8374 (1964) An early EP from the original lineup of the band namely vocalist Eric Burdon, guitarist Hilton Valentine, bass guitarist Chas Chandler, keyboardist Alan Price and drummer John Steel.  The group formed in Newcastle upon Tyne during 1962 and 1963 when Burdon joined the Alan Price Rhythm and Blues Combo and they performed as the Alan Price Combo. They later changed their name to the Animals. They were supposedly dubbed "animals" because of their wild stage act, and the name stuck. Known for their gritty, bluesy sound, they balanced tough, rock-edged pop singles against rhythm-and-blues-oriented album material and were part of the British Invasion of the US. FLAC
