As was the norm in the 60s, many artists released 7" Extended Play discs featuring previous single or album tracks.  Dusty was no exception releasing several in the UK, this release being her 2nd EP.

All 4 tracks on this disc can be found on the album A Girl Called Dusty which had been recorded at Olympic Studios, Carton Street, London W1 during January 1964.  The album was released in April and this EP was then issued in July.

The video is a clip of Dusty performing on the Ed Sullivan show on May 2nd 1965.

Vibravoid Kraut Rock Sensation EP Fruits De Mer CRUSTACEAN 07 (2009) Another great slab of vinyl from the Fruits De Mer label featuring the band Vibravoid who hail from Dusseldorf, Germany. The original plan for the label was for long lost rock classics to be re-released however licensing the music was I assume very difficult and expensive so the label moved into having rare and classic rock being re-recorded as cover versions. Marion Ryan  (4 February 1931 – 15 January 1999)  was a popular British singer in the 50s & 60s, once called "the Marilyn Monroe of popular song".  Most of her output is referred to as run of the mill pop but the "A" side of a 1968 release, although not experiencing any chart success at the time, found acceptance during the 1970s on the Northern Soul dance scene. The US version was pressed on white vinyl.  The 45 was re-released on Third Man Records in 2010. The White Stripes wish you and yours a wonderful Christmas this, and every year.
