A fairly obscure reggae release from 1970. Lloyd, Dice and Mum was Pama Dice aka Baba Dise, The Scorchers and Dice The Boss, Mum was also known as Girlie who was also known Ad Claudette and Rude Girl.

The 45 is very much a Prince Buster clone but the version on the flip is excellent.

Marion Ryan  (4 February 1931 – 15 January 1999)  was a popular British singer in the 50s & 60s, once called "the Marilyn Monroe of popular song".  Most of her output is referred to as run of the mill pop but the "A" side of a 1968 release, although not experiencing any chart success at the time, found acceptance during the 1970s on the Northern Soul dance scene. The US version was pressed on white vinyl.  The 45 was re-released on Third Man Records in 2010. The White Stripes wish you and yours a wonderful Christmas this, and every year.
