Françoise Hardy (1944-2024) was born in Paris.  She first came to fame as a leading figure in French ye-ye music scene. Ye-ye music was a French term derived from the English "Yeah Yeah", basically 60s beat music such as the early Beatles' sound.

As well as being a famous singer she was also known as a songwriter, model, actress, writer and astrologist.

This self titled EP was released in France in December 1962. All four tracks were penned by Hardy along with Roger Samyn.
