Wonderland SHE 2 (1983)

Originally an uptempo jazz instrumental written by Herbie Mann, it was released as the title track on his 1962 album of the same name. Later that year Carl Sigman wrote lyrics to the composition and the song was popularised by Mel Torme who released it on his album "Comin' Home, Baby!" 

The Creatures (singer Siouxsie Sioux and drummer Budgie) recorded this highly praised cover version in 1983 and took it to #14 in the UK charts.

Vibravoid Kraut Rock Sensation EP Fruits De Mer CRUSTACEAN 07 (2009) Another great slab of vinyl from the Fruits De Mer label featuring the band Vibravoid who hail from Dusseldorf, Germany. The original plan for the label was for long lost rock classics to be re-released however licensing the music was I assume very difficult and expensive so the label moved into having rare and classic rock being re-recorded as cover versions. This EP was a limited release of 300 copies so finding a copy these days is difficult.  On the EP the tracks being covered are: Kraftwerk's Ruckzuck  Amon Duul II's Eye Shaking King Can's Mother Sky Mashantra's Rauchkraut FLAC

Marion Ryan  (4 February 1931 – 15 January 1999)  was a popular British singer in the 50s & 60s, once called "the Marilyn Monroe of popular song".  Most of her output is referred to as run of the mill pop but the "A" side of a 1968 release, although not experiencing any chart success at the time, found acceptance during the 1970s on the Northern Soul dance scene.
